Healing isn’t about becoming someone new it’s about uncovering who you were created to be.

Hi, I’m Jessica Knibbs.

Welcome to Avail Life, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University New Orleans and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. Before entering the counseling profession, I spent years in human resources and case management, experiences that deepened my understanding of people, resilience, and the many challenges individuals face throughout life’s transitions.

My passion for this work is both professional and deeply personal. Having navigated a wide range of life’s hardships and traumatic experiences, I understand that healing is rarely a straight path. Those experiences have cultivated empathy, resilience, and a genuine appreciation for the courage it takes to pursue growth. They have also strengthened my conviction that our past may influence us, but it does not have to define our future.

While I meet every client where they are at and welcome individuals from all spiritual backgrounds, I have a special passion for serving believers who love God but desire a deeper relationship with Him. Many faithfully follow Christ while carrying wounds from painful church experiences, legalism, spiritual abuse, or misconceptions about God’s character. My heart is to help individuals experience healing that addresses both the mind and the soul, allowing them to discover the freedom, peace, and identity found in a genuine relationship with God.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy creating art, learning about and experiencing different cultures, traveling, spending time outdoors especially near the water, and making memories with my family. These experiences continually remind me of the beauty of growth, curiosity, connection, and living life with intention.

Whether you’re seeking counseling, partnership, or an intensive experience Avail Life is a place to begin again! My hope is that you’ll find a space where your story is honored, healing is possible, and lasting transformation can begin.

I look forward to working with you.

My Approach

You don’t have to know exactly which service is right for you before reaching out. Every person arrives with a unique story, different goals, and a different season of life. That’s why I begin by getting to know you where you are today, what you’re hoping to achieve, and what kind of support will best help you move forward.

Together, we’ll determine the approach that best fits your needs. If you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, or other mental health challenges that require clinical treatment, counseling is likely the most appropriate path. If you’ve done the work in counseling but looking for greater clarity, purpose, accountability, or support navigating personal or professional growth, coaching may be the better fit. For those seeking deeper transformation in a focused setting, an intensive offers dedicated time to address significant barriers and accelerate progress. If you’re looking for ongoing guidance, strategic support, and a trusted thought partner as you pursue long-term goals, a partnership may provide the consistent encouragement and perspective you’re seeking.

My goal isn’t to fit you into a program it’s to understand your needs and recommend the level of support that will serve you best!
